I have my bachelors degree in Psychology, a masters degree in Special Education and a Masters Degree in Social Work. I am a LCSW who went into this field to help others who needed support. I have worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, in-home, school settings and addiction services. I take a strength based approach and believe that you (the client) are the expert on yourself. I am here to give you the tools to meet your goals. It is important to me that I am transparent and genuine with you and that I give you the told to be able to pave a path forward to achieve your goals. Although it's always the client's choice to do homework I do give homework after each session to strengthen skills in between sessions.
Our first session together we will do introductions then talk about the challenges and goals the client has for therapy. If the client does not have goals we will work together to create those goals and a plan for future sessions.
My greatest strengths as a provider as I have worked in a variety of settings and have been able to work with a variety of clients. I have seen what works and what doesn't work. I am passionate about the work I do and am client centered. I have 20 years of experience and have training in a variety of modalities.

I believe the client is the expert on themselves and take a client centered approach. i was a teacher for 10 years before becoming a social worker and have worked in a variety of clinical setting including inpatient, outpatient, addiction centers, running IOP and being a clinical director. this have given me the opportunity to work with clients from many different backgrounds and use different modalities. I have training in CBT, DBT, Trauma Recovery Model and EMDR. I also incorporate holistic therapy such as shadow work which was coined by Young into my work. I use Internal Family Systems and Attachment Theory in my practice as well. I don't believe in cookie cutter approaches, every client is different and we will work together to identify the issues that are interfering in your daily life and what approach will best meet your treatment goals.
