Hey there! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with a variety of ages and settings. My prior experience includes private practice, working at an inpatient mental health hospital, and crisis intervention. Throughout all of my experience my goal has remained the same- to allow you to feel safe, valued, accepted, and known. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, and parents. I believe therapy can be helpful in any season, and I am here to offer a safe and supportive environment. I believe a spiritual component of therapy can add great strength to the treatment process, but I am able to follow your lead on faith-based care. I understand how overwhelming therapy can be and I am so proud of you for taking the first step! I can't wait to walk closely with you on this journey towards healing.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will review your intake forms, discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, set goals, and begin to establish rapport with one another. I will ask questions to understand your background, concerns, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. It's also a chance for you to ask any questions and discuss the therapeutic process.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

After being in the field for over 8 years, I see the importance in fully knowing a client and allowing them to feel safe to be their authentic self.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my therapy sessions, I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) by focusing on helping clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns and beliefs. We work together to understand how these thoughts affect their emotions and behaviors. Through various techniques, such as cognitive restructuring and behavioral experiments, we aim to replace these negative patterns with more positive and realistic ones.
