Congratulations on your decision to start therapy! Whether this is your first time or you're a seasoned veteran, you've chosen to give yourself the gift that keeps on giving: personal growth. With the right provider, you'll learn valuable skills and tools to carry with you throughout your life. You'll feel seen, heard, and respected. You will also gain perspective and a deeper understanding of who you are and what motivates you. I would be honored to partner with you on this journey.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will focus on what brings you to therapy. We'll talk about the issue(s) you've been experiencing and why you chose this time to seek support. Together, we'll begin to craft goals so we can focus our work on accomplishing what's most important to you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a real knack for getting to the root(s) of an issue. Over the years, I've become an expert at asking -- not just the hard questions -- but the right ones. I foster a judgment-free space for discussion, which helps clients feel safe and comfortable talking about the past, present, and future.

My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

By focusing on underlying motivation(s), we are uniquely equipped to navigate barriers that might arise throughout the various stages of change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

By exploring the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, we are able to shift not only perspective(s) but also outcome(s).

Trauma Informed Care

By acknowledging the profound impact of trauma, we create a safe space to recover and heal.

Daialectical Behavior (DBT)

By implementing strategic skills, we are better able to regulate emotions and tolerate distress.

Psychodynamic

By developing an understanding of how past experiences and relationships impact present-day behaviors, we are able to break unhealthy patterns and act with intention.
