I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S). I am licensed in Texas and Virginia. I provide a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors with no judgment. For example, I help adults struggling with career stress, relational challenges, and challenges with productivity (i.e., starting and completing tasks). I also work collaboratively with clients to identify underlying issues, set goals, and develop personalized treatment plans. I guide clients through the process to help build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and foster personal growth.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

We will begin the therapeutic process with introductions, review disclosures & consent, and address any questions or curiosity about therapy. Then dive into the specific challenges they are facing. This will help me create a tailored plan with goals to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, I help clients identify and change negative thought patterns, guiding them to develop healthier coping strategies and achieve lasting change. As a Solution-Focused Brief Therapist, I work with clients in quickly identifying strengths and resources to create practical, goal-oriented solutions, fostering progress.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have extended training with multiple years of experience in helping my clients overcome distorted and/or intrusive thoughts by reframing unhealthy thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. This way of being often leads to worry, doubt, and self-defeating thoughts yielding negative life outcomes both personally and/or professionally.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I have extended training with multiple years of experience in guiding my clients through a process of finding healthy solutions to problems they are facing by setting goals, self-reflection, and progress monitoring toward independence.
