Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California. I received my Masters from the University of Phoenix and have been practicing for 4 years. My experience is in helping children, teens and adults navigate and understand their feelings and emotions to lead to a happier fulfilled life. In addition, I approach therapy from a trauma informed lens working to help clients increase happiness, confidence, and overall self esteem.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing and who you are as a person. I think it is important for me to have a good understanding of who you are and your specific needs. This helps us create a tailored plan together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having worked with children, teens, adults and domestic violence survivors over the past 4 years, I've developed skills to focus on you as an individual to help identify the root cause of your challenges and create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with a variety of clients including, children, teens, adults, and domestic violence survivors. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious in navigating life; from daily activities to work stress, family stress and social stress.

Miss Hazel is the most encouraging, uplifting, completely warm hearted that allows myself to feel comfortable enough to be able to express my true emotions about my hardships and trauma i have faced. NO JUDGEMENT. I can not be happier to have her as my therapist. It be able to finally let what I had built up for the past years, the stress, the shame and guilt be allowed to flow out in every session with miss Hazel as it transforms into growth all while being my true self. No more fake smiles.

My husband and I just had our first couples therapy session with Jacqueline, and we were so impressed with her style. She is authentic, open-minded, and deeply understanding. We especially appreciated how she introduced solution focused exercises right away, which made us feel hopeful and supported. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an effective and experienced therapist.
