Hi there! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over ten years of experience supporting youth, families, and schools. I specialize in working with children, teens, and young adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, self-esteem, identity exploration, grief, family stress, and school-related issues. In addition to working with youth, I find it meaningful to support the caregivers and adults in their lives. I provide a space where parents can feel heard and empowered, explore the impact of their own experiences, and build practical tools to strengthen connection and communication within the family.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Beginning therapy can feel different for everyone—some feel ready to open up right away, while others need time to feel comfortable. Wherever you’re starting from, we’ll go at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you. You get to decide when and how much to share, and together, we’ll build a trusting and supportive relationship over time.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a trauma-informed therapist and LCSW, I bring warmth, compassion, and a deep respect for each client’s unique story. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Child-Parent Psychotherapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I tailor each session to support healing, strengthen relationships, and empower clients to move toward meaningful change. Whether working with children, parents, or individuals, I create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel heard, supported, and capable of growth. I believe in the power of resilience and the importance of honoring each client’s pace, strengths, and readiness for change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Working with youth and adolescents is a passion and a privilege. I understand that this stage of life comes with unique challenges—identity development, emotional ups and downs, peer pressure, academic stress, and sometimes trauma. I create a safe, supportive space where young people feel seen, respected, and understood. My training in evidence-based approaches allows me to meet youth where they are, helping them build emotional regulation skills, strengthen relationships, and develop a sense of confidence and resilience. My experience and calm, compassionate presence make me well-positioned to support youth, adolescents, and their parents in navigating their world and stepping into their potential with trust and empowerment.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I strive to create a warm, supportive space where clients feel heard, empowered, and understood. I draw from several effective, evidence-based approaches to best support your unique needs. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy helps us focus on your strengths and what’s already working in your life, so we can build on those successes and create meaningful change, often in a shorter amount of time.

Child Parent Psychotherapy

With young children and their caregivers, I use Child-Parent Psychotherapy to strengthen the parent-child bond and support healing from early relational or traumatic experiences.

Trauma-Focused CBT

Trauma can deeply impact areas of your life, I approach this work with care, compassion, and a deep respect for your lived experience. I gently incorporate elements of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)—a structured, supportive approach that helps you process painful memories at your own pace. This method focuses on creating safety, building trust, and developing tools to manage overwhelming emotions, while supporting your journey toward healing, empowerment, and resilience. My goal is always to walk alongside you, honoring your strengths and helping you reclaim a sense of peace and control.

Motivational Interviewing

I approach our work together with curiosity, empathy, and a deep belief in your capacity for change. This collaborative, non-judgmental approach is designed to help you explore your own reasons for change, strengthen your motivation, and build confidence in your ability to move forward. I’m here to listen, support, and guide you—not to tell you what to do—so that the steps you take are truly aligned with your values, goals, and readiness.
