Hello! My name is Kathleen and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I have more than 20 years of experience working with clients aged 15 and up. Are you feeling overwhelmed by the stressors of every day life? Are you having issues in your relationships? Do your emotions feel as if they get the best of you some days? Are you struggling with identity? Are you a primary caregiver of a loved one and don't know where to turn? Are you struggling with a difficult family dynamic with your teens or adult children? If so, you have come to the right place. I am honored to walk with you on a journey to your calmer, more centered and peaceful self. I offer a down to earth style of counseling that is tailored to you and your unique story. You will have a safe, non-judgmental space to just be who you truly are and know that you are OK exactly as you are. Together, we will develop a plan that will help you to reach the goals that you wish to reach and help to resolve your concerns.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, you can expect us to go over some of the information in your intake and allow us to get to know each other a bit. We will talk about your goals and what you would like to accomplish and come up with ways for us to work together to get there. I will also answer any questions you may about therapy or being a part of my practice.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

While I see many differnt types of clients, I also have a specialty in family therapy with adolescents and caring for caregivers of those who suffer from memory loss and other neurocognitive issues. I am also an LGBT+ friendly advocate and ally.
