I have two decades of experience providing therapy support to individuals. My approach to therapy is warm, humanistic, and person-centered. We will begin by creating a secure and safe place to begin to explore and create small tests of change. My work comes from a whole person lens, recognizing the importance of mind, body, and spirit, while using techniques from Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused, and Integrative psychotherapy. My work is tailored to meet your individual needs, whether they stem from women's issues, relationship problems, grief, trauma, depression, stress, or anxiety. We will begin the journey to whole-person wellness, one step at a time so that you have an increased understanding, along with additional tools to cope and create change while building an increased sense of well-being and self-compassion. This process is nonjudgemental and will create a strong container developed from trust and unconditional positive regard that you will experience blossoming in your other relationships. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will begin with brief introductions. I will come to learn and understand the challenges you are facing which will allow me to build and tailor a plan and goals for our subsequent sessions so that we may begin to create the change you desire.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I am a humanistic therapist that practices from a person-centered approach. I will work to uncover the issues that matter most from a mind, body, spirit perspective while using techniques from Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused, and Integrative psychotherapy. My interventions will be designed to meet your specific needs and I will be checking in throughout to ensure efficacy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have experience working with folks making major life transitions, this includes work with women experiencing job changes and challenges, family conflict, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, stress, and work within the LGBTQIA+ community.
