I hold a master’s in social work (MSW) degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Additionally, I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) therefore I am permitted to practice clinical mental health treatment and facilitate clinical interventions within the state of North Carolina. I provide an integrative and trauma informed approach to meet individuals' unique needs. I strive to meet clients where they are, assist with alleviating their symptoms, and ultimately meet their individualized therapeutic goals.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
You have made the decision to improve the complicated personal aspects of your life surrounding your intimate relationships, family, social, or professional situations. I can assist you with learning how to make the changes you feel need to be made. Filled with compassion, I look forward to helping you create the life that you deserve.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I believe that each person is unique, resilient, and has an intrinsic ability to heal. As part of being human, we learn that life is complex, painful and joyful, and intrapersonal growth can be difficult. I listen to and honor the uniqueness of each person, pace, and process with the intent of creating an empowering space that honors each person’s journey toward harmony.
