I am a LCPC/LMHC mental health counselor and I serve Illinois and Florida. I received my masters degree from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL and I have been practicing for over 7 years. I walk along my client's who are suffering in anxiety, grief, and feeling lost with life transitions to resolve the overwhelming emotions and develop confidence in moving forward.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session with me, you can expect that I don't expect you to share your most intimate details of your story. Every story is unique and valuable, it takes time to build trust with your therapist, so you will not be pressured for details that you are not ready to share.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have a trauma-focused background, this back ground allows me to better understand what it is like to not feel like yourself and feel like you just don't know how to get back to being yourself. My greatest strength is that I value each persons story and I walk with my clients to integrate differing story lines to achieve a cohesive narrative that allows for positive personal growth.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am passionate about working with clients who are suffering from stress, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. My clients are growth minded and and are seeking to improve their lives, and are feeling held back by avoidance, overwhelm, and other perceived barriers.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy is instrumental in my practice because it allows for the discovery of patterns that keep us stuck. Understanding these patterns enable clients to make different choices that will allow for a sense of self empowerment.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and commitment therapy guides my practice by giving language to the lived experience, which guides in providing perspective and mental flexibility. Through this language, perspective and flexibility, we gain strength in understanding ourselves, providing a pathway forward.
