I am a Tennessee based Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving adolescents and adults of all backgrounds throughout the state. My approach is rooted in health and wellness, bringing attention to the mind body connection. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming session where we discuss your goals for treatment. We will discuss information that will help me better understand you, your background, current struggles and what brings you to therapy. While this session focuses on gathering information, it is also a space for you to ask questions about the process, and understand how therapy services can support your healing and growth.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with clients presenting with wide range of presenting issues. This practice helps us address a wide range of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression and stress. Through cognitive restructuring, we will assess negative thought patterns, challenge those thoughts, and help reframe them in a healthier way.

Mind-body approach

As a Certified Mental Health & Nutrition Clinical Specialist (CMNCS), I utilize the mind body approach to all my treatment plans. I focus on overall health, wellness, nutrition and exercise to help my clients build a healthy foundation for growth and change.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT to help clients develop the skills necessary for emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and mindfulness. This practice is effective for individuals with relationship difficulties, self-destructive behaviors, and who experience intense emotional reacations.

Grief Therapy

Grief therapy offers a supportive space for clients to process the emotional, physical, and psychological impacts of loss. Through compassionate guidance, I help clients navigate the complex feelings of grief, whether from loss of a loved one, a relationship or life change.

Strength-Based

I use a strength based approach in therapy, which focuses on identifying and building upon the inherent strengths and resources each client possesses. Rather then focusing solely on problems or deficits, I collaborate with you to discover your unique abilities, resilience and success.
