Hello, I am Allyson! Do you feel the heaviness of the world and want to quit? Do you beat yourself up when you do not accomplish your goals? Do you lack meaningful relationships? Do you struggle to find happiness? Are you confused about your purpose in life? I empower individuals to live their best life and teach people to cope with their mental health challenges or life stressors. We can work collaboratively to identify destructive behaviors and negative thought patterns that are blocking you from living the life you truly desire. I utilize brain-based therapies which help heal the core wound and reduce symptoms. Whether you are dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationships, burnout, work-related stress, betrayal, or dealing with racial injustices we can find various therapy techniques that can be tailored to your personal needs. I am a trauma-informed, Brainspotting and EMDR-trained, and a culturally-sensitive therapist that cultivates an environment of compassion. I want clients to feel safe, heard, and validated. No one deserves to feel hopeless, alone, or abused. Healing is not meant to be done alone. I am a firm believer that with just a little bit of hope and persistence, growth is possible! I am here to support your healing journey.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, I will gather a client's history, medical information, and list of symptoms. We will also begin discussing future therapy goals. We can also spend time getting know each other to see if we are a right fit. If we are not a good match, I can assist in putting a referral with another therapist or specialist that can meet your needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strengths are my ability to build trust with clients, while providing compassion, and empathy.
