New to Grow
I take a warm, collaborative, and solution-focused approach to therapy, working alongside clients to help them find practical ways forward. Much of my work centers on supporting adults living with PTSD, depression, and anxiety, and I’ve developed a strong niche working with men in the gay community. My primary approach is rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), but I believe therapy should fit the person—not the other way around. Depending on your needs and goals, I adjust how I work so that treatment feels useful and relevant to what you’re facing. Clients can expect a conversational style of therapy with me. I offer nonjudgmental support, space to reflect, and concrete strategies that can be applied outside of session. My goal is to create an environment where you feel understood, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.
First sessions are about getting to know each other and ensuring a good fit. That said, by the end you will have a pretty good picture what treatment will look like, as we fine tune the areas of concern.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is creating a space where clients feel genuinely safe and accepted. I bring a warm, collaborative presence that helps people open up without fear of judgment. My conversational style makes therapy feel approachable, while still being grounded in evidence-based strategies like CBT. I’m skilled at helping clients identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck and guiding them toward practical, solution-focused changes. I adapt my approach to meet each person’s unique needs, ensuring that therapy is both personal and effective. Another strength is my ability to connect with clients in the gay community, where I’ve built a niche offering understanding, support, and tools for navigating life’s challenges. Across all my work, I remain committed to helping clients feel empowered to grow, heal, and move forward with confidence.
My ideal clients are adults who are ready to take an honest look at what they’re struggling with and are open to exploring new ways of thinking and coping. Many of the people I work with are living with PTSD, depression, or anxiety, and they want both a safe space to talk as well as practical tools they can use in daily life. I especially enjoy working with men in the gay community, creating a space where they can feel seen, understood, and supported without judgment. Whether someone is navigating identity, relationships, or the impact of past experiences, I value being a steady and collaborative partner in the healing process. Above all, I’m drawn to clients who are motivated to make meaningful changes, even if they’re unsure where to start. Together, we’ll take each step at a pace that feels right, focusing on growth, resilience, and finding solutions that last.
Although CBT may be heavily used it is not the sole method of treatment. As symptoms and presentation may be better suited for various methods, which will be used unique to your concerns and treatment plan.
