I’m happy you’ve taken the first step to feel better. I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist, with 15 years of experience in counseling. One of my passions is helping clients gain their lives back and feel relief from their symptoms. I work with anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, relationship struggles, OCD thoughts and behaviors, people that struggle with grief, depression, and most of life’s challenges. I also work with individuals that need someone to talk and connect with, in a safe, confidential setting. I specialize in EMDR therapy, CBT therapy, solution focused therapy, mindfulness and meditation for calming and regulating the nervous system, equine psychotherapy and of course talk therapy..

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will talk about what brings you to therapy and what’s your goals for therapy are and we will discuss and agree on treatment tools, skills to work on and a plan to move forward.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

You can expect a warm safe space to get to the root cause of your symptoms and learn tools, to feel better again. You will also feel heard, understood and validated.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work best with clients that struggle with past and present traumas in their lives, that want to learn skills to control their thoughts and feelings, and relax their bodies.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use cognitive behavior therapy as one of my main treatment modalities to target negative thoughts, intrusive, thoughts, and ruminating thoughts.

EMDR

I use EMDR which stands for eye movement, desensitization and reprocessing, to target traumatic memories.

Supportive

I use supportive therapy as a main focus therapy to support the individual client in what ever their struggles might be.
