My name is Kailey Miller and I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I have 12 years of experience working within the mental health and substance use field. I have worked in various settings including inpatient, residential, and clinics with different populations. My goal is to work with my patients to better understand their symptoms and how to address them. Through collaboration with my patients and comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment-I focus on promoting mental well-being and addressing the unique needs of each individual.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
The first session is a crucial step in mental health care. It is an opportunity for both parties to evaluate each other and work on building a treatment plan. Expect in the first session to: -begin to develop a sense of each other through information gathering -complete assessments and provide background information -discuss your goals in treatment as well as your concerns -examine treatment options and recommendations
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
My greatest strength as a provider is my ability to integrate professional knowledge with an individual's needs and preferences. I put high emphasis on working together to create an effective treatment plan.
