I am a licensed clinical social worker who is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and families through life’s challenges with warmth, compassion, and practical tools for growth. My approach is collaborative and relationship-centered, drawing from evidence-based practices such as strength-based therapy, motivational interviewing, and parent–child models of care. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, empowered, and supported as they build resilience, deepen self-understanding, and move toward meaningful change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

n our first session, you can expect a welcoming, relaxed conversation focused on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. We will talk about your goals, current concerns, and any important background information at a pace that feels comfortable for you—there is no pressure to share everything all at once. My priority is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and supported. We will also review practical details such as confidentiality, scheduling, and what you hope to gain from our work together. By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer sense of how I work, the direction we might take, and the opportunity to ask any questions so you can feel confident and comfortable moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What often stands out about my therapeutic approach is the balance between warmth and practicality. I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely understood and emotionally safe, while also leaving sessions with concrete tools and insights they can use in everyday life. My work is collaborative and individualized — rather than a one-size-fits-all model, I tailor interventions to each person’s developmental stage, strengths, and goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to support children, adolescents, and young adults, as well as parents and families who are navigating emotional, behavioral, or life-transition challenges. I often work with clients experiencing anxiety, stress, school-related concerns, self-esteem difficulties, and adjustment to changes within the family or relationships. I am also a strong fit for caregivers seeking guidance around parenting, communication, and strengthening the parent–child bond. My approach is especially helpful for individuals who are open to reflection, motivated for growth, or unsure where to begin but willing to explore their goals in a supportive, non-judgmental space. Together, we focus on building practical coping skills, improving emotional understanding, and fostering resilience so clients can move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

My treatment methods

Child Parent Psychotherapy

I utilize a parent–child model of psychotherapy that recognizes the deep connection between a child’s emotional world and the caregiving relationships around them. In our work together, I support both children and their caregivers in building stronger communication, emotional understanding, and secure attachment. My approach is gentle, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that healing happens within relationships. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where parents feel empowered and children feel seen, heard, and supported. Together, we work to strengthen family bonds, develop healthy coping skills, and nurture each child’s natural resilience and growth.

Motivational Interviewing

incorporate Motivational Interviewing into my work to help clients explore their goals, strengthen their inner motivation, and move toward meaningful change at their own pace. This approach is collaborative and non-judgmental, focusing on understanding each person’s values, strengths, and readiness for change rather than applying pressure or judgment. I strive to create a supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make decisions that align with the life they want to build. Together, we gently explore ambivalence, build confidence, and highlight the resilience and insight that already exist within you.

Strength-Based

I practice from a strength-based perspective, which means I focus on the abilities, resilience, and inner resources each person already carries. Rather than viewing clients through the lens of problems or deficits, I work to highlight what is working, what has helped in the past, and the unique qualities that make each individual capable of growth and healing. My goal is to create a supportive, empowering environment where clients feel encouraged, understood, and confident in their capacity to overcome challenges. Together, we build on existing strengths while developing new skills that foster lasting well-being and self-trust.
