(she/her)
Welcome - I'm Rhonda and congratulations on taking a step for a healthier you. I'm a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Board Certified) who had previously worked in an outpatient psychiatric practice before venturing on my own. I have 5 years of psychiatric experience and my educational program was completed at Nova Southeastern University and University of Detroit Mercy. I specialize in Panic Disorder, ADHD, Depression, OCD, Addiction, Sleep Disorders, and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) referrals. We can meet in-person or via Telemedicine - whichever is easier - or more comfortable for you.
We can review your goal(s) of treatment. What I like to do with my patients is that of partnership -- having joint goals. Yet, the best outcome for you will be when you are willing to make changes. Even little changes will continue to add-up and one day -- you may not need me. That is my ultimate goal: you will no longer need me and be strong enough on your own. It will be important for you to adopt a plan, do the plan, check back in on the plan, and if there are gaps -- that you will be willing to hear about it. That is the coaching: it is a process -- and it important to not let medication be the only answer. Find out the ways you can make changes by sharing your concerns with me.
My philosophy to mental health is that you are going to get out of it -- what you are willing to put into it. At the same time, I’m ready to meet you where you are. I thrive on problem-solving and look forward to helping you with that.
An ideal patient would be one ready to make changes. Whether it's better understanding your medication choices, gene-medication testing, lifestyle changes, understanding the best supplements, or knowing the types of therapy that would most beneficial for you. Or, you may be ready to address addictions -- possibly wean off of Benzodiazepines, Alcohol, or Opioid substances -- and be willing to work a plan to maintain sobriety. These are examples of the types of services I enjoy offering to patients and would like to help you.

I have been working with Rhonda for years. I found her here on grow therapy after working with her at a different practice. I was so happy to find her here so I can continue to work with her. I love her and always look forward to talking to her. She is so sweet and down to earth but gives tough love when I need it. She truly cares about me so I know she cares about all of her patients. I highly recommend her to anyone who is seeking help. She is the best.
