Hello! I'm a LCSW based in Connecticut. I have 25 years of experiencing working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds with a variety of issues. I received my master's in social work from Springfield College in 2004 and have been licensed in CT since 2007. In my practice, I use a present-focused solution-based approach. Individuals who choose to work with me will find they are working on practical solutions to their everyday issues.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions and then dive into the specific issues that brough you into therapy and develop a tailored treatment plan for our work together. Please arrive ready to identify one or two concrete goals for our work together. In this session we will also develop a cadence and frequency for our sessions.
Having worked with a variety of clients across the lifespan, with varying degrees of severity of illness, I feel prepared to partner with you on your identified goals and assist you with tools to help manage and successfully cope with issues as we work together.
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults, families and couples. I have experience in treating those with anxiety, PTSD, self-harm behaviors, intrusive thoughts, depression and prolonged mental illness. I employ a strengths-based, solution focused approach and want to partner with you on identifying practical and realistic solutions to help you live your best life!
