Hi! I am a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor and National Certified Counselor here at Grow Therapy. My passion lies in supporting individuals on their journey towards mental wellness and personal growth. With a compassionate and empathetic approach, I create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and work towards positive change. My therapeutic style integrates various evidence-based techniques, tailored to meet each client's unique needs. Together, we'll collaborate on discovering strengths, navigating challenges, and fostering a path towards a more fulfilling life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our initial session together, my primary goal is to create a warm and inviting atmosphere where you feel comfortable and heard. We'll start by discussing your reasons for seeking therapy and what you hope to achieve. This time is for us to get to know each other better, understand your concerns, and explore your goals for therapy. I'll take the opportunity to explain my therapeutic approach and answer any questions you might have about the process. We'll discuss confidentiality, the structure of our sessions, and how we can work collaboratively to address your needs. Additionally, I'll invite you to share your personal history, experiences, and any challenges you may be facing. This session serves as a foundation for our work together, allowing us to establish a trusting therapeutic relationship. By the end of our time, my aim is for you to feel empowered and hopeful, with a clearer understanding of how our sessions will unfold and how we can progress toward your desired outcomes.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength as a therapist lies in my ability to foster a genuine and empathetic connection with my clients. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals feel understood and valued. My approach is anchored in active listening, allowing me to truly grasp my clients' perspectives and concerns, which forms the cornerstone of our therapeutic journey together. Additionally, I pride myself on my adaptability and versatility in tailoring therapeutic strategies to suit each client's unique needs. Whether drawing from cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness practices, or narrative therapy, I aim to craft a personalized roadmap for growth and healing. Ultimately, my passion for guiding individuals through their challenges and witnessing their resilience and growth is what drives me as a therapist. I am committed to empowering my clients to discover their strengths, navigate obstacles, and cultivate a more fulfilling life

My treatment methods

Brainspotting

I guide clients in accessing and processing deeply held emotions and trauma stored in their nervous systems. By identifying specific 'brainspots,' we facilitate a targeted exploration of these experiences, often leading to profound emotional release and healing. This non-verbal approach allows for transformative work in addressing trauma, anxiety, and emotional regulation, fostering a deeper understanding and resolution of inner conflicts.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help clients understand the link between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through this structured approach, we work together to identify and reframe unhelpful thinking patterns, empowering individuals to develop practical skills that foster resilience and positive change in managing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, and behavior modification.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to empower clients in managing intense emotions and improving interpersonal skills. Through the use of mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness modules, we collaboratively work on building coping strategies and fostering a deeper understanding of emotions. This structured approach equips individuals with practical tools to navigate life's challenges, enhance emotional resilience, and cultivate healthier relationships.

EMDR

I employ Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to address and process traumatic experiences stored in the brain. Using bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements or taps, we navigate these experiences, facilitating their adaptive resolution. EMDR often leads to transformative shifts, reducing the emotional distress associated with past trauma and fostering a more positive and integrated sense of self.

Motivational Interviewing

I guide clients toward self-directed change by fostering intrinsic motivation and exploring their readiness for transformation. Through empathetic listening and collaborative conversations, I support individuals in resolving ambivalence, amplifying their internal motivation, and empowering them to make meaningful, sustainable changes aligned with their values and goals.
