Postpartum Anxiety & Maternal Mental Health – Daytime Virtual Openings Hi, I’m Veronica, a licensed clinical social worker with advanced training in perinatal mental health. I specialize in helping new and expecting moms manage postpartum and pregnancy-related anxiety, overthinking, and racing thoughts, so they can feel more grounded, confident, and in control during this major life transition. It may look like you’re holding it all together, but inside your mind never stops replaying conversations, worrying about what’s next, and questioning your decisions. Postpartum anxiety and early motherhood can bring constant stress, pressure, self-doubt, and difficulty slowing down. I view anxiety as something we can learn from, rather than fight against. When approached with curiosity instead of criticism, it often becomes easier to understand what truly needs attention and care. Relief from anxiety isn’t just about changing your thoughts, it’s also about helping your body feel safe again, and not just think your way there.
My goal is to help you feel supported, grounded, and more connected to yourself. My approach blends compassion, expertise, and practical tools to help you find relief and a greater sense of calm. Healing can begin when you no longer have to hold it all together alone, when you can share what’s really happening beneath the surface and be met with warmth, curiosity, and care. In your first session, we’ll explore your experiences, identify the patterns that contribute to anxiety, and begin building practical strategies that fit your real life. I currently offer daytime virtual appointments, which are a great fit for moms on maternity leave or anyone seeking consistent, short-term support. I am accepting United and Aetna insurance.
My greatest strength as a provider is my skillset in active listening, I place great importance on paying close attention to what my clients are sharing and I want them to feel heard and understood. I take a collaborative, compassionate, and practical approach, blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy with somatic and mindfulness strategies. Together, we focus on tools that fit your real life, addressing anxious patterns and overthinking in ways that are manageable and realistic for your daily routine. My approach is warm, client-centered, and solution-focused, supporting you to feel more grounded and confident while honoring your unique experience as a new or expecting mom.
