Do you have things you want to talk about but don't feel comfortable sharing with friends or family? Whether it's everyday stress, high anxiety, or life transitions, we'll work together for you to gain clarity to make meaningful change in your life. I work with adults to manage life's stressors. Issues are discussed with the understanding of how limitations of time, energy, and support affect our behavior. Together we'll find ways to address your needs. I look forward to working with you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

After the first session, we'll establish what you'd like to get out of therapy and a general starting goal, even if that goal is to figure out your therapy goal(s). You'll understand how perspective can affect behavior and how small changes can have a significant impact. I use a conversational, reflective style that guides clients to realize their power in making decisions, and offers insight into how to adapt when dealing with uncertainty and things we cannot control.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I use a person-centered/strengths-based approach that prioritizes interventions based on clients' learning style. Interventions include dance/movement therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy skills, and cognitive behavioral therapy concepts as a starting point for ideas. We'll discuss what tools may be useful and how they can be modified to be effective.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My strengths include reflecting back thought patterns that block people from reaching their goals, reframing outcomes to discover opportunities for growth, and highlighting people's strengths to develop a reasonable path toward desired change.
