I am a practicing clinical social worker with 29 years of experience and have practiced in Maryland; currently new to Florida. I utilize a collaborative approach to self determination and self improvement with adults and families. I have extensive experience in Bipolar Disorders, Traumatic Brain Injuries and Trauma. I worked as a Social Worker with older Adults for 10 plus years and am comfortable with providing resources and mental health support to that population.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I will ask about their history of symptoms and background. I will try to see if we are a good match and if I can meet their needs. If not I will refer them to someone who can better support them.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a professional and personal experience with trauma so I always have a trauma focused approach with all clients. I also have a son with a traumatic brain injury and can assist families experiencing medical trauma. I am calm and compassionate with a directive approach.
