My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been using CBT and other modalities successfully throughout my career depending on client needs. I use CBT specifically to help client become more aware of the correlation between thoughts, feelings and behavior.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help clients embrace their thoughts and feelings rather than fighting or feeling guilty for them.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT to help clients strike a balance between validation (acceptance) of who you are and your challenges and the benefits of change. The ultimate goal is to improve emotion regulation.

Group Therapy

Group therapy could be powerful because it perpetuates the fact that we are not alone in our struggles with mental health and we could Rely On each other for support and collaboration.
