Hi, I am licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Virginia, DC, And South Dakota. I have been practicing in this field for about 25 plus years. I have experience working with PTSD, TRAUMA, OCD AND ANXIETY. I use horses for those who are local to my area in therapy with children who have experienced trauma. I also worked in Africa for 10 years providing services for women and teens coming out of sex trafficing. I traned about 100 women in Crisis work to start support geoups in their African villages to provide support for the women and teens who needed support getting back in to a community. I habe a passion to stand with those who want to move forward in their lives.

I like to start my day using Mindfulness exercises to ground me and to start in the present. Mindfulness helps us stay present and focus on being intensley aware of what you are sensing and feeling in the moment.
I use trauma focused CBT to address the needs of those who have Post-traumatic stress disorder and other related difficulties relating to traumatic life events.
