Hi! My name is Dr. Aleyah Yasin and I am a LMFT in Florida. I earned my M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy and my Ph.D. in Family Therapy and I specialize in family systems and relationship dynamics. My goal is to assist in alleviating the atmospheric stressful tension that builds during the daily encounters occurring at home, work and or school settings that influences issues connected to mental health and family relationship problems.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In my first session with clients, I try to make them feel welcome, comfortable, and safe by taking my time to explain how there is therapy works and how I conduct therapy in a confidential manner. Respect is paramount in my session and the real answers do not have to fit the cookie cutter of right and wrong. I try to connect with my clients to help them feel comfortable and supported in expressing their feelings and thoughts openly.

As a Solution Focused Therapist, I believe that my greatest strengths is provider is my optimism, creativity, and goal oriented perspective on life circumstances . I implement art and play therapy techniques in my therapy sessions to help my clients in expressing their feelings and emotions in open minded and respectful manner.

Family Therapy

I am a Mariage and Family Therpaist that uses Solution Focus Therapy and Narriative Therapy models in individual, couple's and family therpay session with clients. Through Solution Focused Therapy, I can help clients define their solutions in a manner where thei can create attainable goals and work towards them with a strength based perspecttive. Through Narriative Therapy, I can utilize externalization techniques to help client talk about their problem from a persepctive where they are seperate from it and they feel safe and comfortable restorying it's relational meaning to them.
