About me

Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California. I have been practicing in the field for 17 years. I help adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and stress become the best versions of themselves. I have practiced in hospitals, schools and community mental health and have experience in various therapeutic modalities however I enjoy utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and Narrative therapy because I believe that these provide efficient results.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. I am willing to go into the past if you think that this will be beneficial to your overall growth as well. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having worked with children as young as 4yrs old and up to adults in later life, I am well positioned to support and assist you with tools to help you identify the root cause of your challenges and create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their careers, life or some aspect of their relationships.

Taryn was very helpful to let me know that I probably really need to find a provider who can prescribe my Autistic daughters medications. She takes several for psychosis and others to help with symptoms brought on from these medications. Lorazepam in particular has to be renewed every month in order for the insurance to allow it to be sent. Taryn was very kind and offered that I might use her services in the future for myself to have someone to talk to.
