Life’s transitions—career changes, family conflict, or the "empty nest"—can often shake our sense of identity and purpose. I specialize in helping individuals and families process these shifts through a lens of hope and Biblical resilience. As an LMFT with extensive experience in the public school system, I offer a "gentle balance" of clinical expertise and a faith-based worldview. In our sessions, we won’t just manage symptoms; we will work toward a solution that honors your values and focuses on the strengths God has given you. My goal is to help you move from feeling overwhelmed to feeling hope-filled, walking with you as you process the vast array of emotions attached to these seasons of change.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, so I'll keep our first session straightforward and low-pressure. Think of it as a structured "meet and greet" where we see if we’re a good fit. Here is exactly what to expect: The Basics: We’ll start by reviewing a bit of paperwork and discussing confidentiality so you feel secure in our space. Your Story: I’ll invite you to share what brought you in and what’s been weighing on you lately. You only need to share what you’re comfortable with—there’s no pressure to dive into deep on day one. Goal Setting: We’ll talk about what you hope to change or achieve. Whether you have a specific goal or just a general "I want to feel better," we’ll start mapping out a path forward. Q&A: You can ask me anything about my approach, my experience, or how therapy works. I want you to leave feeling heard and clear on our next steps. My main goal for this hour is for you to end the session feeling a little lighter and more hopeful than when you started.
My greatest strengths as a provider lie in my ability to establish genuine connections with people from all walks of life. I am easy to talk to, offering a friendly and professional demeanor that puts people at ease. Individuals often describe me as open, honest and have a true love for God. I use a collaborative and approachable style to help individuals navigate their toughest chapters. By focusing on a strong, honest, Christ-centered bond, I will help support you in moving from just "getting by" to creating a hope-filled life worth living.
I’m best positioned to serve clients who are are ready for tangible change. Whether you are navigating a major life pivot or managing a specific mental health challenge, you likely want tools, or just talk. My clients are typically proactive and open-minded, looking for a collaborative space where we can identify specific roadblocks and build a practical toolkit for resilience and long-term stability.
Other specialties
I identify as
Christian Counseling
I seek to meet people where they are and honor their faith integrating biblical counseling with peer reviewed evidence based practices (i.e. CBT, DBT, Family Systems, etc.). If desired, Christian counseling is an additional way of providing support to what is being discussed and worked on in counseling.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I aim to help individuals understand that they have control over their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. CBT is a goal oriented technique frequently used for intrusive thoughts, self-esteem, anxiety, depression and much more.
Child Parent Psychotherapy
I work with parents to provide healthy and positive coping skills to better manage their child's/teen's emotions and behaviors. I utilize this method to help children/teens and their families recover and heal after stressful or traumatic events. Additionally, this method has been used as an effective vehicle in strengthening the relationship between a child and his or her caregiver resulting in restoring the child's cognitive, behavior, and social functioning.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I utilize a Solution Focused Brief Therapy technique incorporating Biblical components while emphasizing the importance of positive change, empowerment, and hope. This technique is goal-oriented, short-term, and an evidence-based therapeutic approach that helps clients find solutions to their problems by focusing on the present and future.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness because it provides a powerful buffer between your thoughts and your reactions. So much of our suffering comes from being on 'autopilot'—automatically spiraling into worry about the future or regret over the past. By integrating mindfulness, I help you learn to observe these negative thought patterns without getting swept away by them. This 'mental pause' gives you the space to choose a response that aligns with your values, rather than just reacting to your stress.

Audrey has helped me see things from new and healthier perspectives as I navigate different experiences and emotions in my life. Speaking with her is always something I look forward to, and I truly value the support, insight, and care she brings to every session. She creates such a safe and comfortable space that I never feel judged when opening up, which has made it much easier for me to be honest and vulnerable about my thoughts and feelings.
