Hi There! My name is Te'Ericka (She/Her). I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Illinois. I earned my Master’s degree from Chicago State University and I have been practicing for 4 years. I specialize in working with women and children who have experienced trauma, providing them with the support, guidance, and tools they need to heal, build resilience, and thrive.
In their first session with me, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive environment where we will work together to establish trust and rapport. We’ll likely begin by discussing their background, current challenges, and goals for therapy. We will also assess their needs and my therapeutic approach and create a plan for ongoing treatment.
As a provider, I believe my greatest strengths are creating a safe, compassionate space for clients, particularly women and children who have experienced trauma. My expertise in trauma-informed care, combined with my empathetic listening and ability to create personalized treatment plans, helps me build strong therapeutic relationships and foster healing.
I love to serve women and children who have experienced trauma. My professional expertise allows me to support individuals navigating the emotional and psychological effects of trauma, helping them process their experiences, build resilience, and develop coping strategies for healing and growth.

Talking with this therapist makes me feel truly heard and understood. It’s one of the few spaces where I feel safe being completely vulnerable. I’m able to process the situations I’m facing, explore my thoughts openly, and work toward real solutions that help me move forward.

I didn’t know what to expect at my first therapy session, but I felt welcomed right away. The space was calm, and she truly listened, validated my feelings, and showed real care. There was a lot to unpack, but she reassured me this was just the beginning. I felt safe opening up and look forward to speaking with her again.
I collaborate with clients to identify their specific goals, assess current thought patterns, and develop a tailored treatment plan to meet their unique needs.
I form alliances with individuals to help them manage emotions and improve relationships through mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness skills.
I specialize in grief therapy, helping clients navigate loss and find healing. In practice, I provide support through listening, validating emotions, and guiding clients through stages of grief. I use techniques like narrative therapy and mindfulness to facilitate acceptance, emotional expression, and the gradual rebuilding of meaning and purpose.
