New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor dedicated to helping adults, teens, and children navigate life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and relationship challenges. My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and supportive, grounded in empathy and respect. I believe in fostering emotional growth, balance, and self-awareness while helping clients build healthy coping skills and a stronger sense of self. I provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel deeply heard, validated, and empowered to overcome challenges, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
During our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand your background, goals, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. Together, we’ll begin shaping a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you feel supported and understood as we begin your journey toward healing and growth.

I work best with people who are ready to take an honest look at their lives and make meaningful changes — individuals who may be struggling but haven't given up on themselves. My clients often come in feeling stuck: weighed down by grief, burned out by anxiety, or quietly wondering if this is just how life is supposed to feel. I connect well with people who have never been in therapy before or who tried it once and didn't find it useful. Those who are used to handling things on their own but are reaching a point where that strategy isn't working anymore. I meet people where they are, without judgment and without pressure to open up before they're ready. I also work frequently with people navigating major life transitions, career changes, relationship shifts, loss, identity questions, moments where the old map no longer fits the territory. These clients are often high-functioning on the outside while carrying something heavy on the inside. Spanish-speaking clients are especially welcome. Many of my bilingual clients have struggled to find a therapist who understands both the language and the cultural context that shapes their experience. I bring both. Across all of my clients, I look for one thing: some part of them that wants things to be different. They don't need to have it figured out. They just need to be willing to show up.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns that influence emotions and behaviors. I’ve found CBT to be highly effective in addressing anxiety, depression, and stress-related challenges. Through my experience, I focus on helping clients build awareness of their automatic thoughts, challenge cognitive distortions, and develop healthier coping skills. I also integrate mindfulness and practical behavioral strategies to reinforce progress outside of sessions. My goal is to make CBT approachable, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique needs and pace.
