My name is Sean, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with 15 years in the helping field. I provide compassionate evidenced-based care to individuals attempting to cope with a range of challenges, including addiction issues, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem to name a few. One constant in life is change, and that change can be positive. You can learn to be more present in the moment and not regret the past and have less fear of the future. Just know, no matter how difficult life may feel in this moment, even on the darkest night, the sun always rises.
I feel having good rapport is the most important aspect of therapy. Our first session will be so we can begin to get to know each other, explore the problems you are facing, and begin developing a plan to help you reach your goals.
We have all had difficulties in our lives, including me. I understand many of our struggles and through understanding, empathy, and working together, we can achieve your goals. I am non-judgmental and approach clients with compassion and care.
My approach is client-centered. I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for my clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. I want to empower you to achieve the goals you have for your life and improve your over-all wellbeing. Through empathy and understanding, we can work together in your journey to self discovery.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT will allow you to identify which thoughts no longer serve you and have caused difficult emotions and unwanted behaviors. We identify the problem and focus on solutions leading to a more peaceful life. Our thoughts lead to feelings and then a behavior. We will work toward improving the inner self talk and improving our perceptions of self and the world around us.
