Hello, I’m Diann. Do you feel overwhelmed by the weight of your responsibilities? Uncertain how to lighten your load? Are you feeling out of balance in your relationships, work, and health? Come talk to me. Together, we will explore strategies to help you increase your confidence, self-awareness, and personal effectiveness. Whether you’re dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues, or self-doubt, I’m here to help. You’re probably not used to asking for help, but you’re making the right choice! You deserve a safe space to reflect, heal, and grow. In our sessions together, I will offer compassion and proven techniques to help you overcome old habits and hangups that no longer serve you. Let’s do this!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I work primarily with women and men from adolescence to late adulthood to empower them in all areas and aspects of life. We work in partnership, enhancing their confidence, self-knowledge, and power in order to create a life of intention—a life they’ve always imagined living.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I invite my clients to examine unconscious thought patterns and the feelings these create, drawing connections to resulting actions and the outcomes they create in their lives. Together, we explore new ways of thinking by increasing self awareness and developing intentional thoughts, actions, and results.

Family Therapy

I see each individual as having been shaped by their early life experiences and family of origin dynamics. This is where we first develop our self concept, belief systems, and relational patterns. The goal here is to bring this shaping into awareness, understanding how it comes into play in one’s current life and relationships, and thereby making adjustments to create a more dynamic, intentional, and satisfying life.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

The goal of ACT is to create a rich and meaningful life, while accepting the pain that inevitably goes with it. “ACT” is a good abbreviation, because this therapy is about taking effective action guided by our deepest values and in which we are fully present and engaged.
