I work with adults of all ages to help stabilize their mental health and foster growth and independence. I empower children, adolescents and young adults to know, love and accept themselves; bringing out their best self and maximizing their potential. I also provide individuals and families with tools needed to deal with and support loved ones facing any mental health distress. I utilize medications, therapies and other self-care strategies in nursing your whole person; spirit, soul and body back to life and optimal health. I have worked as a Board Certified Family Mental Health/Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for 15 years, but have been a psychiatric registered nurse for over 25 years. I have worked with individuals and families across the lifespan from pediatric to geriatric, however I have a passion to see adolescents and young adults heal, grow and become their very best selves. I work to create a greater awareness and access to mental health treatment, as well as incorporating spiritual and physical health for the total wellbeing. I deal with a range of mental health disorders, while focusing on depressive, anxiety and mood disorders.
