I’m an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist and EMDR Consultant-in-Training (CIT) licensed in Florida and North Carolina. I specialize in helping athletes, professionals, high performers, and adults with ADHD move past the anxiety, pressure, burnout, and nervous-system patterns that interfere with confidence, focus, emotional regulation, and performance. Many of the people I work with are capable and driven on the outside, but internally struggle with overthinking, shutdown, chronic stress, emotional overwhelm, or feeling stuck despite insight and self-awareness. My approach integrates EMDR, Performance-Focused and Transformational EMDR, CBT, ACT, and nervous-system regulation strategies to help clients create meaningful, lasting change rather than simply managing symptoms. I provide secure virtual therapy throughout Florida and North Carolina.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a calm, pressure-free conversation about what’s bringing you in — whether it’s a specific symptom, a life transition, or a sense that something needs to shift. We’ll clarify your goals, map out what “relief” looks like for you, and determine whether EMDR is the right fit now or later. Many clients arrive unsure whether what they’ve experienced “counts as trauma.” We sort that out together — with clarity, no judgment, and a grounded plan. You’ll walk away from session one with: • A simple understanding of what’s happening in your brain and nervous system • A clear treatment roadmap • First steps you can use immediately • A sense of grounded clarity and direction How Sessions Often Feel Even through telehealth, clients describe sessions as calming, focused, and grounding — a chance to finally breathe again. As we work together, you’ll notice increased emotional clarity, better coping tools, and less reactivity. EMDR helps untangle root causes so symptoms decrease and you feel more internal stability, confidence, and choice. The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Performance-Focused EMDR — Specialized support for athletes, professionals, and high performers dealing with performance anxiety, pressure, burnout, confidence loss, overthinking, and nervous-system interference patterns. EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist + CIT — Advanced EMDR-focused work grounded in nervous-system regulation, trauma processing, and lasting behavioral change rather than symptom management alone. ADHD & Neurodivergent Adult Focus — Support for emotional overwhelm, executive dysfunction, masking, reactivity, and chronic nervous-system fatigue common in high-functioning ADHD adults. Grounded, Direct Approach — Therapy that is collaborative, practical, emotionally intelligent, and focused on meaningful movement rather than endless analysis.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

• Athletes and competitors struggling with pressure, confidence, injury recovery, or performance blocks • High performers and professionals dealing with burnout, overthinking, emotional reactivity, or anxiety under pressure • Adults with ADHD and neurodivergent nervous systems experiencing overwhelm, executive overload, or chronic stress • People navigating trauma from childhood experiences, relationships, medical procedures, accidents, or high-stress environments • Men looking for a grounded, direct, non-judgmental therapy approach • Clients who are insightful and self-aware but still feel emotionally stuck despite previous therapy or self-work If you’ve been pushing through on your own, therapy can help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I use EMDR to help clients process trauma, anxiety, performance pressure, panic symptoms, and nervous-system patterns that continue to interfere with daily life, relationships, confidence, and performance. I specialize in Performance-Focused and Transformational EMDR for athletes, professionals, high performers, and adults with ADHD who feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, emotional overwhelm, burnout, shutdown, or pressure-driven stress responses. EMDR helps the brain and nervous system process unresolved experiences so reactions become less automatic and life feels more grounded, flexible, and manageable. My approach is collaborative, direct, and paced carefully to create meaningful change without overwhelming the nervous system.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT helps identify and shift the thought and behavior patterns that reinforce anxiety, burnout, avoidance, perfectionism, and performance pressure. I use CBT in a practical, grounded way to help clients reduce overthinking, improve emotional regulation, strengthen follow-through, and respond more effectively under stress rather than getting stuck in self-criticism or shutdown.

Jungian

Jungian work helps uncover the deeper patterns, internal conflicts, and identity themes that often sit underneath anxiety, burnout, emotional overwhelm, and performance struggles. Many high performers and ADHD adults are highly self-aware intellectually but still feel disconnected from themselves internally. This approach helps clients better understand recurring emotional patterns, inner pressure, purpose, identity, and the parts of themselves they may have learned to suppress in order to function or succeed.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I provide a grounded, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where clients can slow down enough to better understand what their nervous system, emotions, and reactions are communicating. Many high performers spend much of their lives “holding it together” for others. This approach helps create safety, trust, and emotional clarity without pressure, shame, or feeling pathologized.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT helps clients build psychological flexibility so anxiety, pressure, difficult thoughts, or emotional discomfort no longer control their decisions or performance. I often use ACT with high performers, athletes, and adults with ADHD who feel stuck fighting their internal experience instead of moving toward the life, goals, and identity they actually want. The focus is learning how to stay grounded, values-driven, and effective even when stress or uncertainty is present.
