Hi, I’m Chiara, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I offer a warm, intuitive approach to therapy, blending attachment theory, mindfulness, and somatic awareness with attentive listening. With over 10 years of international experience, I support individuals, couples, and families through life transitions, relational challenges, and personal growth. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can feel understood, reconnect with your strengths, and explore meaningful change. I provide therapy in English, Spanish, and Italian.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and understand what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask about your history, current challenges, and goals, and together we’ll explore what a supportive and safe space looks like for you. This session is an opportunity to ask questions, share what you hope to get from therapy, and begin building a collaborative relationship that meets your needs.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I believe my greatest strengths lie in creating a compassionate, safe, and attuned space where clients feel understood and supported. I use a trauma-informed, holistic approach and often incorporate a directive style, which I’ve found very helpful for clients especially when they feel lost or unsure where to start. I aim to meet each client where they are, listening carefully and tailoring therapy to their unique needs, so they can reconnect with their strengths and move toward meaningful change.

I work with individuals, couples, and families who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. Some are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, or past relational pain, while others are moving through life transitions, parenting challenges, or shifting roles that can bring exhaustion or a sense of losing themselves. I support people who want to feel understood, regain clarity, and reconnect with what truly matters—without trying to “fix” themselves.
Compassion Focused
Through a compassion-focused lens, I help clients understand their emotional responses, ease shame, and develop greater self-compassion as a foundation for healing and change.
Attachment-based
I use an attachment-based approach to help clients understand how early relational experiences shape current patterns in relationships, emotions, and self-worth. Therapy focuses on building safety, trust, and more secure connections with self and others.
Couples Counseling
In couples counseling, I support partners in improving communication, rebuilding trust, and understanding the emotional patterns that create conflict. I help couples slow down reactive cycles and develop healthier, more secure ways of relating.
Culturally Sensitive Therapy
My own multicultural background allows me to deeply understand cultural identity struggles, acculturation stress, and the emotional impact of feeling caught between cultures. I offer culturally sensitive therapy that honors each client’s lived experience.
Trauma Informed Care
I provide trauma-informed therapy to help clients understand how past experiences impact their emotions, relationships, and sense of self. I focus on creating safety and trust while supporting clients in processing difficult experiences and building resilience.
