Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself as a passionate practitioner for over twenty five years. My service includes a broad range of ages and issues with a primary focus on children and family dynamics. I'm a Licensed Professional Counsellor-Supervisor (LPC-S) based in Texas. I received my Doctorate from the Texas Southern University, a Master's in Applied Psychology from Houston Baptist University and my first Mater's in Guidance and Counseling from Eastern Michigan University.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My primary goal is always client centered. Listening, caring and empathy has always been the most important qualities during the initial phases of the therapeutic relationship.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with young professionals for the past 25 years, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Individual psychotherapy has been a proven successful treatment for individuals dealing with self-esteem problems. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is an evidence-based form of therapy. The techniques of this therapy derive from the idea that thoughts lead to emotions and behaviors. The purpose of the treatment is to help a person recognize the self-defeating negative thoughts that lie behind emotional flare-ups. Individuals work with a mental health professional to learn how to manage stressful life circumstances and self-defeating thoughts more successfully. o The cognitive-behavioral approach has many benefits. Individuals learn to cope better with difficult life situations, positively resolve conflict in relationships, and mentally handle emotional stress. Working with a therapist will assist in learning how to cope with difficult or uncomfortable feelings, repair relationships, manage stress and regulate mood.
