Welcome! I'm a New York based therapist (LMHC-Licensed Mental Health Counselor). I received my Masters from Columbia University and have been practicing for 14 years. I help both adults and young adults struggling with general stress, career stress and burnout. My passion is to support clients with learning new skills in order for them to become the better versions of themselves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

1) First Intake Session & Consultation: In our first session together, we'll start with introductions, and I will begin to conduct my consultation and initial intake interview with you, so I can learn about your therapy goals and your mental health symptoms, in order for me to determine if I am the best fit therapist for you. 2) Follow-Up Sessions: If I am the best fit for you, we will have follow-up sessions. This is when you begin the exciting and growth producing part of therapy! During sessions you can expect that you and I will work as a team, in a supportive, compassionate, authentic safe space. We will collaborate and create therapy strategies to support you with your therapy goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I provide a safe space for clients by genuinely listening, being encouraging, compassionate and sharing kind honest therapeutic feedback. I focus on clients strengths, motivation and action-oriented skill building, in order to support them with achieving their desired outcomes. By working with adults ages 18-55, through various life stages, I've developed a supportive nature, to help clients identify the causes of their challenges and create a customized plan that leads to progress.

My treatment methods

Integrative

I enjoy utilizing an Integrative Therapy method in my practice. This method supports clients with learning how to manage their anxiety and stress, by using a combination of different therapy methods, to best suit each client's unique needs and their context. The main therapy models I like to integrate are, CBT, Positive Psychology, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Humanistic Psychology, Multicultural Psychology. The Integrative Method allows to create custom tailoring therapy for each individual client, in order to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past 14 years. It supports clients with challenging reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety and stress. We’ll use CBT to learn how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other, and how to change your thinking patterns to reduce anxiety and stress.
