I’m Amber, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who supports adults navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, and everyday stress. My approach is warm, collaborative, strength-based, and I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify unhelpful thought patterns and build practical coping tools. I believe you already have the strengths within you—even if they don’t feel accessible right now. My goal is to create a calm, supportive space where you feel understood, empowered, and confident taking steps toward meaningful change.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and that’s completely normal. In our first session, you can expect a calm, supportive space where we’ll go at your pace. My goal is for you to leave feeling understood, supported, and more at ease about taking this next step.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths are creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard and supported. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify unhelpful thought patterns, build healthier coping skills, and create practical, lasting change. My approach is collaborative and strength-based, so you leave sessions with both insight and tools you can confidently use in your daily life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, relationship stress, or the pressures of everyday life. You may feel stuck or unsure of yourself, but deep down you’re ready for change. Using a supportive, strength-based approach and incorporating CBT, I help you better understand your patterns and build practical tools to feel more confident and grounded—we’ll be a great fit.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we gently explore patterns that may be contributing to stress or emotional distress and work toward creating more balanced, supportive ways of thinking and responding. I help clients notice automatic thoughts, examine them with curiosity and compassion, and develop practical coping and problem-solving skills that feel realistic and empowering in everyday life.

Strength-Based

I use a strengths-based approach to help clients identify and build upon their existing skills, values, and resilience. I focus on helping you recognize the strengths you already have. Even when things feel overwhelming, there are parts of you that have been coping, surviving, and showing up — and those matter. We’ll look at what’s been helping (even in small ways) and build from there. My goal is to support you in feeling more capable, grounded, and confident as you make changes that feel meaningful to you.
