LMFT, 12 years of experience
I'm a proud Bay Area native, raised in Silicon Valley with roots in a military and law enforcement family. My journey as a teen mom and survivor of domestic violence has inspired my passion for supporting others through life’s challenges. I earned my BA in Psychology from San Jose State and my MA in Clinical Psychology from Notre Dame de Namur. I've had the privilege of working with law enforcement families, and individuals facing eating disorders, addiction, homelessness, and mental health crises.
This is where we connect and explore each other’s approach. We’ll discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, any strategies you've tried in the past, and collaborate on how we can work together to help you get back on track and move forward.
As a strength-based therapist, my greatest asset is the ability to help clients recognize and build on their own resilience and inner strengths. I focus on empowering individuals to reframe challenges as opportunities for growth, fostering a sense of hope, confidence, and self-trust throughout the healing process.
I specialize in working with individuals and couples, offering tailored support to navigate life’s challenges. With extensive experience supporting military personnel, law enforcement officers, and first responders, I bring a unique understanding of the demands faced by those who serve our communities.
In therapy, we will work together to shift your mindset with a compassionate yet firm approach, offering the perfect balance of support and tough love to help you grow.
