Hi there, I'm Kelli. Is anxiety, chronic pain, panic attacks, depression or feeling overwhelmed keeping you from enjoying your life? Are you constantly frustrated and angry with your children? I empower clients with coping skills to understand and manage mental health and life challenges. I will work with you to identify your therapeutic goals and design an individualized approach that meets your needs. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness, and alternative approaches to guide you to the place you want to be. I'm a licensed professional counselor in Georgia and Nevada with over 20 years of experience in mental health in private practice and the school system. I'm also a mom to two grown children and a wife. I frequently draw upon my personal experiences to help my clients. Whether you're dealing with parenting challenges, anxiety, depression, chronic pain or panic attacks, I'm here to help. I look forward to partnering with you to create the life you desire.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we'll start with brief introductions, I'll go over informed consent for services, then we'll dive into the challenges you're facing.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength is my ability to connect with my clients. I am highly empathic and that is very helpful in helping clients feel validated and understood. I also have had many personal challenges that I use to help others. This often helps clients feel like they're not alone in what they're experiencing.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

We will identify your current challenges and therapeutic goals. We will explore the links that exist between your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I will guide you as you examine these patterns and experiment with ways to reframe thoughts, explore feelings and change the behaviors you want to change.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

We will explore different mindfulness interventions such as grounding techniques, guided meditations and progressive muscle relaxation to see which, if any, will bring you relief.
