Molly Giannotta
My name is Molly Giannotta and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I had a graduate degree from Stetson University and a certification in Play Therapy. I have worked with children, adolescents and adults who struggle with an array of disorders and struggles for the past 8 years.
One of the biggest complements I have received about my counseling style is that clients feel like we have known each other a long time, despite it being a short relationship.
I work from a person centered orientation and utilize skills such as CBT, ACT, Play Therapy, DBT techniques and trauma informed care.
First session
In our first session, we will go over a lot of background information--- the who you are and what your experience has been. In addition, we will work on building rapport and discussing the expectations for our time.
Strengths

Clients have shared that I provide a warm, safe environment where they can process thoughts and feelings and that I offer helpful insight and tools for their needs.
Ideal clients
I enjoy working with clients who are willing to open up and explore new techniques. They may struggle and have difficulty utilizing tools but are willing to address this in session and try new things.

Utilize this treatment approach with clients struggling with an array of symptoms.
Play Therapy
Utilize this treatment with children under 12, but techniques with older children and parent management.
Trauma-Focused CBT
Utilize this treatment with clients who struggle with trauma and/or hardship.
