What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will typically start with brief introductions, obtain history of present challenges, presenting issues, and identify goals you would like to work with that will help improve emotional and psychological well being.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider is being a good listener, provide empathy, understanding, compassion and validation, as well as educate , teach and help find positive coping skills and strengths to help improve our emotional and psychological well being.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy is a short term, goal -focused evidence-based therapeutic approach which incorporates positive psychology principles and practices that helps the client change by focusing and constructing solutions rather than on the problems that brought them to seek therapy.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavior Therapy is an evidenced based approach that helps to reduce symptoms of mental health by helping clients identify negative beliefs, intrusive thoughts, cognitive distortions and these affect behaviors, thoughts , feelings. It teaches emotional regulation, coping strategies. It is problem focused and action oriented to bring about change in the individual.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT helps clients increase, improve emotional and cognitive regulation by teaching them to identify triggers, identify self care, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, acceptance and mindful awareness.
