Hi there! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Pennsylvania. I earned bachelors in Psychology from Millersville University and went on to earn my Masters degree from New York University in Social Work. I have been practicing in various therapeutic settings for 7 years since then. I have successfully worked with various age ranges and demographics of clients and I specialize in working with youth and young adults (14-25 y/o). I have a passion for self development and helping folks reach their highest potential!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. I want to hear as much as you are willing to share so that I can identify what approach may be most helpful for you. This will allow me to create a plan of success that is tailor made for you!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with youth and young adults for many years (even before I completed my Master's degree), I have an innate and unique understanding of how to build relationships with folks just like YOU :-). Working to form a strong rapport and utilizing a team approach toward your success is a strength of mine. I so look forward to joining you on your journey toward your favorite version of self!

My treatment methods

Humanistic

A humanistic approach to therapy focuses on the whole being. Utilizing this approach focuses on free-will, human potential and self-discovery. The aim here is to help you develop a strong and healthy sense of self, explore your feelings, find meaning and focus in on your strengths!

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

Feeling seen and valued is an important part of the human experience. Unfortunately, many of us do not often feel heard, seen and valued in our own spaces due to the tendency of society to erase or invalidate experiences based on race, culture, gender and other identifiers. My goal in providing culturally sensitive therapy is to create and maintain a space of safety for whomever chooses to work with me in their walk toward self-discovery!

Integrative

Therapy is not one size fits all! Each individual has a varied set of goals they wish to reach and a varied set of needs to be met. As this is the case, I believe that integrating multiple schools of thought and approaches to treatment is absolutely necessary to reach the best result for each client. Utilizing multiple methods to approach problems creatively is one of my strong suits. Working together with you to create a unique and personalized plan for success is a great way to ensure that your voice is heard and you feel fully a part of the process!
