I am a licensed therapist and provide individual therapy to adults. I offer a warm and supportive therapeutic approach during sessions in order to provide a space for clients to feel safe and comfortable. I encourage openness so that we can explore your thoughts and emotions together in session. I work individually with people who struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, mood disorders, and grief. By utilizing mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, and person centered therapy practices, I help people gain clarity about their lives and their experiences. I believe that as the client, you are the expert in your own life. By working together, I am confident that we will be able to navigate and explore issues you are facing, and help you learn, grow, and feel your best.
After you have booked your appointment, you will be sent an intake form. Please complete this 24 hours prior to our session. This is to ensure that I am able to review your information and come prepared to our first session. If the intake form is not completed, your appointment will be canceled and rescheduled once completed. You can expect to have a full 60 minute appointment where we discuss present issues you may be struggling with. We will also discuss your background, family, possible trauma, and lifestyle so that I am able to understand more about you.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is therapeutic approach that focuses on the connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. The core principle of CBT is that our thoughts and beliefs about ourselves, others, and the world can influence our emotions and behaviors. By identifying and challenging negative or unhelpful thought patterns, I have been able to help my clients learn how to develop more adaptive ways of thinking and behaving, leading to improved emotional well-being. I use empathy, active listening, and evidence-based interventions to support my clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
Person-Centered Therapy, is a humanistic therapeutic approach, where I am able to help clients achieve their goals by providing unconditional positive support, encourage openness, and help a client feels comfortable to engage in self exploration and self actualization. I strive to create a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental atmosphere where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted. I use listening skills, reflective techniques, and open-ended questions to facilitate meaningful conversations and help clients explore their thoughts and feelings.
Mindfulness involves paying attention to the present moment, which can help clients become more aware of their thoughts, emotions, and sensations. I often used mindfulness exercises such as meditation, breathing exercises, and body awareness into sessions. These practices can help clients develop greater self-awareness, reduce stress and anxiety, improve emotional regulation, and enhance overall well-being.
