Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I help couples learn to effectively communicate with one another and understand their relationship patterns, in order to help them build a stronger connection. Using an integrative approach, I help adult and adolescent clients begin to identify and overcome unhelpful patterns, and begin to heal and create a more connected, intentional, and authentic life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, my goal is to better understand what brought you into therapy, and what the goals of therapy are for you, including how the issues, as you see them, are impacting your life. At that point, we can begin to create a plan to reach your goals in following sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I walk through the journey with my clients, working through the struggle, acknowledging the experience and celebrating the accomplishments. I help my clients see the unhelpful patterns present in their lives, and guide them to actively improve their relationships.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am passionate about working with individuals that may be looking to improve their relationships or are struggling with transitional times in their life. Providing the tools they need to better understand themselves and others, often allow them to reconnect in ways they were unable to previously.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

Attachment-based therapy can help a person build or re-build a safe, trusting and supportive relationship experience. This can help build connecting relationships outside of the therapy space with others.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Utilizing CBT can help identify negative thoughts and help us understand how those thoughts impact our behavior. CBT interventions (in the form of homework) can help alleviate the negative impact those thoughts and behaviors have in a client's life.

Psychodynamic

Using Psychodynamic Therapy, a client is able to gain a better understanding of their emotions and internal processes that may be informing their reactions, feelings, relationship with themselves, others and the world around them.
