My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

In solution-focused brief therapy, our focus is on identifying and amplifying the client's strengths and resources rather than dwelling on problems. We work collaboratively to set clear, achievable goals that move the client toward their desired outcome. By emphasizing small, incremental changes and highlighting past successes, we empower clients to create meaningful changes in their lives efficiently.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), we work together to identify and challenge negative thought patterns and beliefs that contribute to distressing emotions and behaviors. Through structured exercises and homework assignments, clients learn practical skills to cope with difficult situations and replace unhelpful thoughts with more adaptive ones. By fostering a collaborative and proactive approach, CBT empowers clients to become their own therapists, equipping them with lifelong tools for managing challenges.

Christian Counseling

In Christian Counseling, we integrate biblical principles, for those who choose to incorporate this treatment, and values with psychological techniques to promote healing and growth. Through prayer, scripture, and reflection, clients can explore their faith and how it intersects with their emotional and mental well-being. By fostering a supportive and spiritually grounded environment, Christian therapy aims to help clients find comfort, direction, and strength in their relationship with God.

Grief Therapy

In grief therapy, we provide a safe space for clients to explore and express their emotions related to loss. Through compassionate listening and validation, we help clients navigate the complexities of grief and honor their unique grieving process. By incorporating therapeutic techniques such as narrative therapy or art therapy, we support clients in finding meaning, acceptance, and eventual healing after experiencing loss.

Group Therapy

In group therapy, we create a supportive environment where individuals can share their experiences, insights, and challenges with others who may be facing similar issues. Through interpersonal interactions and feedback, clients gain new perspectives, empathy, and validation from their peers, fostering a sense of belonging and connection. By leveraging the power of group dynamics and mutual support, group therapy provides a rich therapeutic context for personal growth and healing.
