Hi there. I'm Debra. I'm a Christian Counselor, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Clinical Addictions specialist. I graduated in 2018 from Adams State University in Colorado. I was licensed in 2019 and began my private practice in 2022. This happens to be my second career. I enjoy working with those struggling to find direction or overcoming barriers to their mental health and wellbeing.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During your first session, we will have a brief introduction. Then we will engage in your assessment. I always like to share with people that if I'm going to be able to help, I need to know your history. We'll discuss what brought you to counseling and begin to build a plan on how to overcome the issues that are causing you distress.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

It's my genuineness and authenticity. I bring understanding, compassion, wisdom and knowledge. I will bring compassion, care and competence to every session. I have an innate ability to help client's feel comfortable and safe during their time in my office. I will be supportive and patient while you are working to uncover and make the difficult changes that are necessary to change your life.
