I have a special place in my heart for highly sensitive persons, and those seeking to step into their personal power. As a therapist, my intention is to hold safe and comfortable space to help you feel heard and unconditionally accepted. I draw from broad career experience including traditional counseling, trauma-informed yoga, art therapy, hospice and loss of loved ones, addiction recovery, classroom education, and personal empowerment.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will begin with brief introductions and then I will ask some targeted questions to gain an understanding of your present circumstances and needs so that I can meet you with the most appropriate structure and support. If you've been in therapy or treatment previously, I'd love to hear what was helpful to you and what was not. We will discuss what you hope to gain from therapy, and what to expect.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Authentic & compassionate connection is most important to me, allowing you the space you need to explore difficulties, learn new tools & embrace inner peace. I am deeply committed to this work in my own life, bringing understanding & richness to the therapy process.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is an approach that helps us to explore, understand and accept our difficult feelings. We also learn skills to help manage our internal experiences and better approach relationships.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a psychotherapy treatment that is designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories.

Somatic

Somatic therapy "brings the body into therapy," applying mind-body skills and techniques to aid with trauma recovery.
