Deanette James specializes in providing mental health medication management to women, especially those in the working-class group, who are experiencing the burdens of life. If you are a woman who is a wife, a homemaker, a mother, a professional, a daughter, has family responsibilities, or other factors contributing to a decline in your mental health, she is the person to see. Her services focus on women experiencing anxiety, depression, and PTSD. She understands that these disorders are very prevalent and act as determinants of the outcome of one’s daily life. Imagine being able to process the trauma experienced years ago, through some unfortunate circumstances, and is now wreaking havoc on your life? Not just that, but you are anxious, depressed, and feel like you are not progressing, not fulfilling your goals, and not being the best you could be for your family? She has been a nurse for 14 years and worked in every specialty, but psychiatry has been her niche since caring for behavioral health patients during nursing school. Elamax Mental Health Services PLLC was created by her, to assist in improving the mental health and overall well-being of patients struggling with mental and emotional distress

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session we will do our introductions and then discuss what has been happening with your mental health and when it started. Using this information, we will design a plan tailored specifically to meet your needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Anxiety and depression are two extremely debilitating conditions. They may not seem like it, but one or both of these conditions can determine whether or not you have a fulfilling life. One of the greatest gifts I can receive is seeing my patients progress from feeling like they can't go on another day to being happy, smiling, making plans, and even mentoring others to take steps toward treatment. I believe patients should play active roles in their treatment and progress and not just do what I say, but make suggestions and let me know what works best.
