I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing thoughtful, individualized care for adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, burnout, and life stressors. I take a collaborative, whole-person approach-integrating medication management with therapy-based strategies to support meaningful, lasting change. My style is warm, approachable, and easy to talk to, while still being clear, focused, and results-oriented. I take the time to truly understand you- how you think, what you’ve been through, and what’s keeping you stuck- so we can create a plan that actually works for your life. Many of my clients are high-functioning but overwhelmed, used to “pushing through,” and ready for something to feel different. I aim to help you gain clarity, feel more in control, and move forward with confidence.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is focused on getting a clear understanding of what’s been going on and where you want to go from here. I’ll ask thoughtful, structured questions to learn about your symptoms, history, and past experiences with treatment, while also making space for what feels most important to you. We’ll begin identifying goals and discussing what kind of support would be most helpful- whether that includes medication, therapy-based strategies, or a combination of both. I’ll walk you through options and recommendations in a way that feels clear and collaborative, not overwhelming. You don’t need to have everything figured out ahead of time. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of direction.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a balance of warmth and structure to my work. Clients often describe me as easy to talk to, down-to-earth, and nonjudgmental, while also being direct in a way that’s helpful and grounding. I focus on helping you make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface- not just managing symptoms, but understanding patterns and creating practical, realistic ways to shift them. I’m also highly collaborative and tailor treatment to each individual, while maintaining a clear, intentional approach that supports steady progress. My goal is for you to feel supported, understood, and equipped with tools that actually translate into your daily life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, and ADHD who are ready for things to feel different- even if they’re not exactly sure where to start. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable, and high-functioning, but feel overwhelmed by overthinking, low motivation, difficulty focusing, or a constant sense of burnout. They may be used to pushing through, managing everything on their own, or feeling frustrated that what used to work no longer does. They’re looking for clarity, better emotional balance, and practical strategies that actually help them function day-to-day. I’m especially well-suited for clients who want a collaborative, structured approach and are open to both medication management and therapy-based support. You don’t need to have everything figured out- but being open, engaged, and willing to try new approaches allows us to create meaningful, lasting change.

My treatment methods

Positive Psychology

I incorporate strength-based strategies to help you reconnect with what brings meaning, fulfillment, and balance to your life, while also working through challenges.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

This approach helps you move forward by building on your strengths and what’s already working. We focus on clear goals, small actionable steps, and creating momentum, rather than staying stuck in problems.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact- and how shifting these patterns can lead to meaningful change. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful thinking patterns and develop practical strategies you can apply in everyday life.

Supportive

I provide a consistent, nonjudgmental space where you can process what’s going on, feel understood, and receive practical guidance. This approach is especially helpful during periods of stress, overwhelm, or transition.

Motivational Interviewing

I use this approach to help you work through ambivalence and build confidence in making changes. We’ll explore what matters most to you and strengthen your motivation in a way that feels natural and sustainable.

Today was my first session . To write a review based on one session is not fair therefore I will not at this time. I will say I am already looking forward to my next session. Jackie is extremely knowledgeable, kind and great listener and I can tell that we will work well together.
