Hello and welcome! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Massachusetts. I received my Masters from Assumption University in 2014 and have been practicing on and off ever since. I help young adults struggling with symptoms of Anxiety and Depression become the best versions of themselves. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore obstacles in the way of leading a quality life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, review what it is that brings you to therapy, and identify the impacts of what you're thinking and how you're feeling are having on your day to day functioning. This will help us create a tailored plan for me to work on with you during sessions and for you to work on outside of sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a therapist who specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I've developed a knack for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your symptoms and (b) work through those symptoms in a way that alleviates stress and increases your ability to thrive.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with young adults ages 30 and under. My clients are eager to improve by learning skills they can begin implementing immediately to alleviate the symptoms they experience.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

We all experience anxious feelings or depressed mood at some point in our lifetime. These symptoms should be addressed when they start to get in the way of our happiness or productivity. I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past decade. CBT helps people challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their symptoms related to anxiety and depression. We’ll focus on what triggers your automatic thoughts and the false stories your mind tells you. Then we’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors all influence each other. We’ll use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a life with less symptoms.
